Celebrate 3 Million Pets with Wisdom Panel™
It’s time to put on your party hats! Our friends at Wisdom Panel™, the world leader in pet genetics and maker of Wisdom Panel™ pet DNA testing, have reached an incredible milestone and they want to celebrate with you. They reached a large number, with 3 million animals tested worldwide through their product line, more than any other pet DNA service provider. What better way to celebrate that accomplishment than to pay it forward?
As a thank you for all the great work you do saving animals, Wisdom Panel™ is generously donating $10,000 in cash grants to the Adopt-a-Pet.com Shelter and Rescue Network. The 3 million plus grant program will focus on helping shelters and rescues better care for homeless animals by providing funds to meet medical needs. Adopt-a-Pet.com and Wisdom Panel™ will award two cash grants of $5,000 each to organizations with the most compelling applications. All you have to do is follow the instructions below to be considered!

2022 RULES
- Do not email attached files such as Word, PDF, PowerPoint – they will not be opened. Photo attachments, such as JPG, GIF, or PNG photos, are allowed.
- Only one application email per active Adopt-a-Pet.com shelter/rescue organization will be accepted in 2022.
- The application deadline for this grant program is April 22, 2022.
- This grant program is open to shelters and rescues in the United States and Canada only.
- You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt by auto-response email confirming that we have received your application.
- Please do not contact us for the status of your application.
- Only grant recipients will be contacted. We will contact you if you are a beneficiary!
- Grant recipients are selected from qualified finalists in Adopt-a-Pet.com’s sole discretion.
- By applying for this grant, you agree to the Submission License below and agree to provide Adopt-a-Pet.com with follow-up photos and descriptions of how the grant has helped the animal or animals you have charge.
- You must have an approved and active Adopt-a-Pet.com shelter or rescue account to be eligible for a grant. An approved account is an account that has been approved after registration – you have received your approval email and the animals you list on Adopt-a-Pet.com are visible to the public. An active account has, within the last 30 days, either: a) logged in and viewed your pet list or added a new pet, or b) added a new pet via downloader software. Not sure? You can log in and view your pet list here, which will mark your account as active.
- Do not have an account yet? No problem! You can sign up for an Adopt-a-Pet.com shelter or rescue account here. You can apply after you receive your approval email and list a pet to adopt.
How to apply for a grant:

9. Attach at least two photos of the animals that will benefit, and/or photos and stories of animals from your organization in the past who have been adopted as a result of the life-saving medical treatment/care they may have received.

10. Optional but encouraged: Link to an online video that shows pets in your organization, highlighting your before and after transformations if possible.

Submission License: Each Participant or Charity may be given the opportunity to submit videos, photos, text, or other content (“Submissions”) to Adopt-a-Pet.com and Wisdom Panel 3 Million+ Grants (” program “). Each Submission will remain the property of the respective Entrant or Charity, who will assume full responsibility for any claims related to such Submissions. However, each Participant and Charity grants Adopt-a-Pet.com and its Affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, unconditional, fully paid right and license to: (a) do, cause to make, use, copy, reproduce, modify and create derivative works of any Submissions provided by Participant or Charity through the Program, (b) to publicly perform or display, import, broadcast, transmit, distribute ( directly and indirectly via multiple levels), license, offer to sell and sell, rent, rent, or lend copies of the Submissions (and derivative works thereof), and (c) to sub-license to third parties the rights aforementioned, including the right to sub-license to other third parties. In addition, each participant and charity consents to the use of their name, statements, photographs, videos, voice recordings and likenesses for publicity purposes, as well as for any other purpose. associated with the program.
