Royal Canine canned low fat gastrointestinal soft food. I bought mine from the vet. It worked wonders for my little Tinkerbell. She also liked scrambled eggs with boiled chicken breast. You have just scrambled a few eggs in a non-stick skillet without oil or butter, then tear off some of the cooked chicken breast and add it to the eggs. Tinkerbell just loved it. Do this as a treat.

As an animal health professional, I would recommend gastrointestinal, dry and wet (canned) foods. Royal canine is usually the brand we recommend to our customers. Give a small amount both dry and wet. Give dry food in the morning and canned food in the evening or vice versa, it doesn’t matter. Dogs have sensitive stomachs most of the time due to allergies. Most of my little patients with sensitive stomachs are allergic to chicken. If you see blood in his stool and your dog vomits, your little dog is probably allergic too. Stop giving your dog food containing chicken (especially human food) and talk to your veterinarian.

Joy (sweetheart of 12) has always given me a hard time with food… she’s tired/bored or just picky with it, but the one she eventually voluntarily eats is a solid gold toy and a little bison and brown rice.
