Duchess doesn’t really have a food allergy, but I use Beneful salmon for her and it seems to be fine. She doesn’t have as much gas and when she blows wind it doesn’t make my nose hair curl. So that’s a benefit of the food she gets, I guess.

Dog parents need to realize that food is medicine for dogs the same way it is for us. Dog food is not very nutritious. They are heated to such heat. They also contain ingredients that cause allergic reactions. If you are feeding kibble, you should consider cooking a topping for your dog’s food with appropriate vegetables and meat and giving them fruit. The best thing about this is that you know what your dog is eating. This will make a huge difference in your dog’s health.

We started making dog food. We control the ingredients and it’s healthy. We tried the farmers dog for a while but it was outrageously expensive. We have 3 dogs, a boston and 2 chihuahuas. It costs us about 10 to 12 dollars a week to feed the three. And that also includes dog treats.
