A loud black and white cat has been found on a rural property in need of rescuing. She was a stray cat moving her kittens, but she left the breed behind.

“He has a partial claw and a toe on the outside of his elbows. His front toes are a bit weird but there is no effect on his health.”

“Everyone at the rescue agreed that Professor X would get a chance to live a normal, healthy life, and our vet wholeheartedly supported us.”

Professor X may have some minor developmental delays along with deformities in his front legs, but nothing seems to bother him. He is always in good spirits and walks around the house like a champ. He is very brave and outspoken about what he wants.

The volunteers returned to the property to look for the mother and the rest of the litter. They manage to save Professor X’s sister and brother, Rogue and Gambit. With a lot of effort, they got the feral cat’s mother and were spayed and examined.

“The kittens were very happy to be reunited. They were a little scared and scared at first, as none of the kittens were used to being indoors or handling much,” Raelle shared with Love Meow.

“But soon they all relaxed and are well socialized now.”

Professor X doesn’t know he’s different because he’s on the move without any care in the world. He may tire faster than his boisterous siblings, but he always recharges fully with a longer nap time.

“He can run, play and jump just like his brothers, but he hasn’t figured out how to go up and down stairs. He also can’t climb window blinds or blinds.”

Bentley, a foster cat, took the little boy under his wing and showered him with hugs and licks.

“Bentley can be a tough cookie, but he obviously has a very soft side too. He’s been cuddling and caring for Professor X, just like Mama’s cat does.”

In a few weeks, Professor X will receive treatment to see if his front legs can be straightened. “Even if they can’t, we know he will be fine as a spoiled indoor cat,” Riel said.

“He’s a very sweet, kind boy who loves to cuddle and scream if he needs a hug or wants to be lifted on the couch. He’s so cuddly and I’m so grateful for saving him.”
